Pioneer Childcare are proud to support the Holiday Activities & Food programme in Brighton, Hove and West Sussex.
This Christmas Holiday we are running FREE HAF (Holiday Activity & Food) Camps in local schools providing your children with fantastic food, fun and games throughout the school holidays!
Our friendly and experienced team are passionate about providing fun and engaging activities for all ages.
HAF FAQs
What do Pioneer Childcare provide?
Your child will be entertained with non-stop fun and activities, and receive a FREE freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced Lunch.
Your child needs to bring suitable clothing for all weathers and a refillable water bottle.
Who can attend?
Pioneer Childcare HAF sessions are FREE to primary school aged children aged between 4-11 years old, who are in receipt of benefits related free school meals. Please visit your local council website to see the latest eligibility criteria.
When are the HAF Easter Camps running?
In Brighton & Hove we’re running HAF Easter Camps between Monday 7th – Thursday 17th April 2025.
In West Sussex we’re running HAF Camps between Monday 7th – Friday 11th April 2025.
What time are the HAF Easter Camps open?
In Brighton & Hove, Free HAF Camp sessions run between 8.30am – 2.30pm everyday. Paid top-up sessions are available from 2.30-4.30pm.
In West Sussex, Free HAF Camp sessions run between 8.30am – 4.30pm.
At lunchtime we’ll be providing a FREE nutritionally balanced Lunch. Freshly prepared lunch examples include: a selection of sandwiches, rolls or wraps, with a choice of fillings; crudités; fresh fruit, crisps and a homemade treat. Vegan options are available. This is at no extra cost.
Where are the HAF Easter Camps running?
We’re running HAF Easter Camps in local schools across Brighton, Hove and West Sussex.
Any eligible child can attend the HAF Easter Holiday Camps, regardless of whether they attend that primary school during term time.

HAF Terms & Conditions in Brighton & Hove
Confirmation of attendance data for the Holiday Activities and Food programme will be shared with Brighton & Hove City Council’s (BHCC) Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme team or if your child goes to school outside of the city the relevant local authority HAF team, who will use that data for the purpose of registering for access to the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF), to verify eligibility and to write reports required by the Department of Education in connection with the programme and its funding.
All data used in these reports will be anonymised.
The data will be stored securely and deleted in accordance with the relevant BHCC retention policy.
